Maya told me I was smiling too much with Malik, she said his type could be a Playboy and I shouldn't fall prey to his little game's. " you shouldn't be hanging out with him", Sophia said, and I just nodded my head going inside to freshen up for the night.

It was a new day already, and I couldn't wait to see Malik. but the previous day conversation with my friends couldn't stop playing in my head. Could Malik be actually using me? I thought to myself . But I could see how happy he was whenever he was with me, or was it just pretense?
I decided to take my friends advise and I didn't go out to Meet Malik. He called me on my phone and I made sure I didn't pick and only replied with a text " I'm sorry I can't make it out, I'm down with cramps". I sent it to him and I laid on my bed, pondering on my next move from here. i can't deny the fact that I loved him and at the same time, i didn't want to have issues with my friends as I have been with them ever since we met on the day of admission into college. even though it's been a short while, but I feel like have known them for years.


Malik:
i noticed Anna was avoiding me, it's been a week already and I haven't heard from her. I usually see her following my class area just so we can see each other, but she doesn't anymore. I'm trying to ask her friends what happened, but I'm pretty sure they have a role to play in Anna's sudden change. but I wasn't one to give up and i will find out.

it was Wednesday already, a sport day in college and I always spend the day with Anna, but she didn't come to our usual spot.. instead I saw her standing with Leo. Leo was my classmates but we hardly said a word to each other, even if we have been classmates for three years now. that aside, what was Anna doing with Leo? when did they become friends. I couldn't stop my mind from wondering and my head from thinking about possible answers to the questions. I just couldn't stop staring at her. they she was, standing and smiling with another guy, when she should be smiling only at me.
my day couldn't get any worst. I turned back to meet my friend Eden and he could see the disappointment on my face. he just told me to calm down and promised to ask Anna what the issue was.


Anna:

it was already sport day and I wanted to see Malik badly. I was already making my way to our favorite sport place when Sophia called me back. "Anna, meet Leo. you should know him from the dance club". the dance club I only escort her to, how on Earth will i know Leo. I just smiled and extended my hands to greet him. and that was all it took for Sophia to pair me with Leo for sport. I was angry as I won't be seeing Malik. but Leo wasn't a bad company. I mean the guy was hilarious trust me, and I couldn't stop smiling. I was just laughing about the joke he told me when my eyes met with Malik, standing at a corner, staring at me. Shit! I could see he was angry and might get a wrong idea about I and Leo.
I had to talk to him.
